A play about acting. Onstage and off.
"ensemble" is a two-act satire of the Chicago
improvisational theatre community, chronicling the rise and
plummet of an typical improv group headed by director Stan Lowell
(Brad Norman) and his
trusty assistant Danny Lyman (J. Preddie
Predmore). While attempting to mount yet
another improv show, the troupe (Michael Kuya, Paul-Samuel Fraley, Sarah Pickett, David Castro
and Manny Sosa) is
faced with more than their share of backstage infighting,
politicking, infidelity, intrigue and dismemberment. During this
chaos, Stan tries to maintain a precarious and purpose-free
relationship with a married woman (Caitlin Taer).

and voice of reason. Photography by Melissa Jackson. Project assistance by Darcy Brisco and Crystal Moore.
